Feeling empty, you, the Grim Reaper, must find a way to become whole again. The cost to this is ending the lives of humans by harvesting body parts that let you experience the world through newfound senses. Wielding an axe, you must enter into the human realm or wait for them to come closer to death to attack. Gather your senses and regain power with each life taken, but know this: your thoughts will become louder with every step closer to your humanity. Will you experience remorse? Will the amalgamation of your senses work together cohesively or take on a life of their own? Only time will tell…

How does the game address the theme?

You play as the Grim Reaper - which means reaping souls is your M.O.. However, this game presents it as a unique 'opportunity' - for every soul reaped, the Reaper claims one of the five senses, pieces that can be put together to create a mortal vessel. However, as with any opportunity, this comes with its caveats - such as dissociation, questions of identity, and purpose. This idea is, in essence, one way of considering the human condition - it is death that gives life meaning, and maybe, it is life that gives death meaning too.
